Walterboro Cycling Classic
Established in 1826, Walterboro is the entryway to the South Carolina
Lowcountry and is the epitome of a small southern town, perfect for a
springtime Criterium. This historic town has managed to achieve economic
prosperity while at the same time preserving its small town character
that excludes the grace and charm southern towns are known for. Here,
moss-draped live oak trees shade the quaint streets of the downtown area and
time moves at a slower pace, that is of course until some of the fastest
sprinters in the world converge on Walterboro for the 3rd stop
